The boys and girls of Ballintotas National School were thrilled to hear that the Sciath na Scol competition is returning this year. Hurling/Camogie competitions will begin during the week of 21st March and the plan is to have at least 2 to 3 matches completed before Easter. Finals proposed to take place in week beginning May 30th and June 7th.
This year, for the first time ever, Ballintotas National School are entering both a hurling and a camogie team. This is testament to the great work that local clubs are doing at underage level in the area, and we are so proud of you all.
We recently played a challenge match v Castlemartyr National School in both codes and a great day out was had by all.
